In addition to long life, this construction allows for easy inspection and quick adjustment. Extreme Operations: The unit can withstand extreme operations such as uneven ground, high dynamic loading, heavy dirt, aggressive chemicals, salt water etc., high or low temperatures and even combinations of these.

The Meyer load extender (double pantograph) uses robust cast steel pivot arms and guide channels to achieve minimium deflection (using normal forks) which is necessary for double deep stacking into racking. The unit can also be used for loading/unloading road vehicles and railway wagons from one side.
